Echo

San Leandro, CA

  Breed: Goldendoodle

  Weight: 45 lbs

  Age: 3 years old

  Gender: Male

Hi there! Nice to meet everyone! My husband and I live in San Leandro with our almost 2 year old goldendoodle, Echo. We both WFH and take Echo out for walk/jog/park daily. On the weekends, sometimes we go hiking, play date with friends, or take Echo to the beach! Echo’s great with both people and dogs. He’s a curious pup and likes to be part of everything we’re doing. 😊 He loves every opportunity to be outdoor, whether it be walks, hikes, exploring neighborhood, etc. He is also a foodie. Never picky with his food and as we like to call it “clean bowl club”. When we’re at home, he’s generally very mellow, not too into toys, aside from balls and lambie. Things we’re working on with Echo. - jumping out of excitement when he sees anyone. It’s a WIP and he tend to calm down after 5mins. - barking in the car when he sees a dog. - play biting (he doesn’t really bite but likes to put his mouth over your hand. We always say no and stop playing with him. - leave it (especially for tan bark) Our hosting preference would be another dog that is relatively mellow, is crate and potty trained. At home, Echo has a slight tendency to be more territorial at the beginning and want to protect the house, but it never last more than 15–30mins. Echo sleeps in the crate at night but during the day he has free roaming access. We prefer another dog that also sleeps in the crate to help keep the consistency. Other than that, we’re pretty open! Looking forward to be part of this amazing community!

Dubu

San Leandro, CA

  Breed: Jindo mix

  Weight: 25 lbs

  Age: 5 years old

  Gender: Female

I live in an apartment in Sunnyvale with my boyfriend and my dog Dubu! We live right across the street from a large park. Both my boyfriend and I work from home. If one of us goes into the office, the other will be at home. My dog Dubu is a friendly girl. She likes to play with other dogs, but only if they want to play. She's generally very quiet and to herself when we are with her at home. We have a morning and evening walk before feeding and we occasionally go out in the afternoon for another walk or train at the park. However, she has a high prey drive and will want to chase squirrels/lizards. She has heavy shedding seasons around April and October, but most of the year she has minimal shedding. She also has a lot of anxiety when she hears the Slack notification sound :( we're working on training her, but still a work in progress! I can host most dogs as long as they are house broken. I prefer not to have any accidents in the home, but understand it could happen. Ideally the dog won't mind any noises from our neighbors walking around in the halls/stairs. We are on the second floor and may not be able to accommodate dogs >40 lbs.
